Posting only when you remember is exhausting, and it's hard on your audience too. A simple monthly plan takes the guesswork out of social media and gives you your time back.
Start with three to five content pillars
Pillars are the recurring topics you're known for, such as behind the scenes, customer stories, tips, and offers. They keep you from staring at a blank caption box every morning.
Map your month
Pick a posting rhythm you can actually keep, then slot your pillars into a calendar. Plan around launches, holidays, and events first, and fill the gaps with evergreen posts.
Batch the work
- Write all your captions in one sitting.
- Design your graphics in one sitting.
- Record your short videos in one sitting.
- Schedule everything, then step away.
Leave room for real life
Plan most of your content and leave some space for timely moments, questions from followers, and things you didn't see coming. A plan should support you, not box you in.
Review and repeat
At the end of the month, look at which posts people saved, shared, and replied to. Do more of that next month.
